This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, WAVE is proud to partner with the Ellen Hermanson Foundation for a day centered on healing, education and community care.
Guests are invited to experience a special Healing Circuit at WAVE: a restorative journey through three of WAVE’s wellness modalities, created to support the body while raising funds and awareness for an organization doing essential work for women across the East End.
THE HEALING CIRCUIT
Manual Lymphatic Drainage on the Lemifloat* | 60min
A gentle lymphatic treatment performed on WAVE’s heated water bed, designed to support circulation, fluid movement and deep relaxation.
AirWAVE Mild Hyperbaric | 30min
A restorative session in WAVE’s mild hyperbaric chamber.
Red Light Therapy | 20min
A full-body red light experience designed to support recovery and overall cellular wellness.
Healing Circuit | $495
40% of proceeds directly benefit the Ellen Hermanson Foundation.
*Manual lymphatic drainage is also commonly incorporated into post-operative recovery to help manage swelling and support the body’s natural drainage process. For those recovering from surgery or undergoing medical care, treatment should always be undertaken with clearance from their healthcare provider.
Throughout the event, guests will also have the opportunity to meet Julie Ratner, Co-Founder & Chair, and Mady Schuman, Executive Director of the Ellen Hermanson Foundation, and learn more about the resources available to women and families on the East End.
The Foundation supports access to breast health education, early detection, screenings and treatment, while also funding psychosocial and wellness support for those navigating breast cancer. Its mission includes reaching medically underserved communities and helping ensure that financial circumstances or lack of insurance do not stand between a woman and the care she needs.
